Most of us are not grounded in the “here and now” so we tend to get blown around by life. This exercise will help you gain the solid footing you need to face the world and handle whatever comes your way.
Procedure: Imagine connecting yourself to the earth and grounding like a 3-pronged plug. Take three deep breaths while standing or sitting. With the first breath visualize energy coming in through the top of your head and filling your body. With the next breath, move the energy in, down, and out your feet into the earth. With the third breath, see the energy flow into your crown, down to the base of your spine, and out into the earth. Repeat until you feel stable and grounded.
